Sample Projects

Rocky Ritchie is an attorney located in the Kern River Valley and San Luis Obispo with over 32 years in the criminal justice system. His practice focuses on Criminal Defense and D.U.I. defense. Mr. Rictchie wanted a simple CMS site and a good tag line. We developed the tag "Rocky Ritchie, "The Only Name You Need to Know".

Arlington Heights Memorial Library (AHML) is a 5 Star ranked public library located just north of Chicago in the charming community of Arlington Heights. The IT staff at AHML are implementing a Drupal® Website. Building on the strength of Drupal® 5.x they are creating one of the most attractive Drupal® sites that I've seen.

Avalon MIS provided on-site Drupal® training to the IT department at the beginning of the project. It is estimated that the new site will be released by the beginning of summer.

The Independent Film & Television Alliance (IFTA) is the trade association of independent producers and distributors of motion picture and television programming worldwide. Avalon MIS (SLO Bake) was invited to come in-house to provide training and consulting for a new developed Drupal_® Website. The Website was nearly completed and the staff wanted to get a head start on creating and managing content.

The training focused on content management topics including creating and editing content, creating revisions, taxonomy, and managing multimedia.

Vino Vice is a company designed specifically for event security management servicing the North County region of San Luis Obispo County. We were created in response to a growing need for event security management in the greater Paso Robles Wine Country Region.

Dr. Norma Davis is a management consultant in Central California. Dr. Davis provides project management and enterprise resource planning services. Dr. Davis had an existing Website that was static and outdated. Even the main menu system was awkward. Avalon MIS was hired to create a more attractive, functional, and sophisticated Web presence to more accuartely reflect the site owner. Avalon MIS created a dynamic Website and produced two video segments of Dr. Davis.

LDH Enterprises helps small to medium size businesses achieve success when they are forced to face issues such as Export Complianc, Turn Around, and Extra-ordinary Events. Larry Hall creates workable solutions that are compatible with the business operation. Implementation is therefore a practical, do-able task.

achs Archbishop Carroll High School is a private high school located in Washington D.C. About a year ago the school made the decision to have a Website created and they choose the popular software program Drupal® to power the site. The software was installed by an independent vendor and Avalon MIS was contacted to provide training on the use and maintenance of their site. The training participants were school staff members who were unfamiliar with the program. They were an energetic, fun, supportive group that rapidly advanced up the steep Drupal learning curve.
